Farmers who lost their crops due to Hurricane Stan in the Chiapas region of Mexico (Miguel Aleman, Tuzantan, Chimalapa, Villa Hermosa, Colonia Piedra Labrada and Mazapa de Maderowill) will be supplied with banana seedlings or coffee cuttings to replant their land. Farmers are dependent on their crops for income and so the loss of crops mean people do not have the resources to buy food or pay for education. Persons who have sustained major losses will receive a monthly food ration of beans, maize, oil and rice to give them the opportunity to re-establish an income source. No other Non \xe2\x80\x93Governmental Organization's are working in this region.
