The primary purpose of this project is to increase food
security among the urban poor in Ouagadougou. The program
targets the most vulnerable people in the vicinity of Eglise
des Assemblies de Dieu d'Antenneville. Additional elements of
the program include a food-for-work program for single mothers
and providing food to orphans at the Jim Wilson Village of
Hope. This project will target approximately 5,000
beneficiaries including people who generally have no means of
support, individuals that are temporarily un-employed or
refugees/returnees, orphaned children in the Children's Village
and women in a food for work program who would otherwise have
no way of providing for themselves or their children.
