Christian Care is committing to the first year of a three year program to alleviate critical food insecurity for 100 households in the Gutu district in Zimbabwe. To recover from perennial droughts the farmers will participate in conservation farming which is a farming technique that aims at optimizing yields using very minimal resources in terms of seed, fertilizers and water and it also significantly reduces soil disturbance while improving soil texture and fertility.
