World Relief Canada is supporting their partner, Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief (EFICOR) with the first year of a five year project in Rajmahal, India. This project aims to ensure food security by creating and enhancing sustainable livelihood opportunities for 700 families in 30 villages of Sahibganj District. Some of the activities planned for the project include the distribution of fruit and forest saplings; construction of energy efficient stoves; establishment of self help groups; and agricultural training.
