Prayers & Litanies for People who are Hungry
As Christians, we can respond to hunger in two important ways:
Donate money, and pray. Both are very important.
Below find links to prayers and litanies your church can use to remember people caught in hunger, famine, or humanitarian emergency; you can also adapt them for your own personal prayer and reflection.
While many of these prayers focus on East Africa, they can be adapted to focus on any area where people are in need.

Come out and bid or donate an animal of your choice!
Canadian Foodgrains Bank will provide tax receipts for contributions and
the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) matches most
contributions on a 4:1 basis, which greatly enhances the value of your
support. All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank to
provide life and hope to people who are hungry in developing countries.
