This six-lesson set on hunger in the world is designed for children in church or public schools.
The main goals of the curriculum are to help children to understand:
1) that God has a great concern for people who are poor and hungry;
2) the impact and effects of hunger;
3) the scope and causes of world hunger;
4) world hunger as an issue of injustice and the unequal sharing of the world's food resources;
5) the role and work of our church in its efforts to alleviate world hunger and how the Canadian Foodgrains Bank may assist in that role; and
6) how all people have something to contribute.
