In Kind Support
This type of support can be described as work or services provided to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank at no charge. The Foodgrains Bank may be able to provide a tax deductible receipt depending on the product or service.
Besides the many exceptional print stories of local supporters, newspapers often print our media releases and donate free advertising space. Advertising firms donate their time to design our yearly church and grain elevator packages. Grain companies waive storage, drying and handling charges. Local farm input suppliers provide product, expertise and time.
Other support may include products such as radio promotion, support for harvest banquets, local banking fees being waived or donated abilities such as organizational skills, financial accounting, and creative writing.
