  • Provision of inputs and services to local community growing projects
  • Promotion of the Foodgrains Bank program among customers and staff
  • Provision of free services to the Foodgrains Bank

To Access Support

Many growing projects receive donated inputs or services.

From time to time, Canadian Foodgrains Bank head office receives offers of donated inputs or services. When these offers are accepted, we provide our regional coordinators and local growing project coordinators with information on the offer and how to take advantage of it.

Local growing projects often receive support from local suppliers. These donations are arranged between the growing project and the supplier and may include anything from donated to fuel, seed and equipment to coffee and sandwiches for harvest celebrations.

Contact your regional coordinator for further information on this year's programs, sample letters, or certificates of appreciation.

Corporate Donors

Community growing projects are volunteer run and donations are usually acknowledged locally. If you would like more information please contact our office .

Please note the following items from our Corporate Support Policy:

  1. No "official" or exclusive corporate partnerships or arrangements will be developed with specific companies. An open system for corporate support will be maintained where companies providing similar products and services are all able to support the Foodgrains Bank program.
  2. Canadian Foodgrains Bank, as an organization, reserves the right to decline any corporate offer that it deems inappropriate.
  3. Canadian Foodgrains Bank will speak on issues relevant to the food security mission of the Foodgrains Bank.
